Process of creating intuitive paintings

Since I have not been studying in an art school (unfortunately or fortunately), my method of cognition painting is different, more native and flexible. Perhaps this method will be interesting for those who feel the artist in themselves and want to manifest themselves in this world.

Unlike the conventional classical and long process of creating a painting, I begin with a tuning on the future image (in this case the portraits of St. Clara of Assisi and St. Francis of Assisi), relying on the internal capabilities, which I think everyone has, everyone who has faith. And then a little magic happens, – I do not do any shading or markings on the canvas, I just start to create an image with my fingers. And in a few hours from a white canvas a full-fledged image is born. Oil paints come to life and contribute to the full manifestation of the image through the energy of the fingers.

In ancient Eastern teachings this energy is called Qi or Chi. Unfortunately, in the west, due to the dark times of the Middle Ages, such things as the man’s divine energy were terrible to think about. But now is another time, and we are lucky, we can do various miracles.

To complete the painting you can supplement the image with, for example, a palette knife, which gives the possibility of a certain kind of dynamics on the canvas.

Also I want to note, – listen only to your heart, intuition. Your image is your vision, it is special and must be unique. Do not doubt yourself. Even if you are told that you did not represent a smiling image or neck is too thick, the eyes are large, the colors are not the right ones and so on. Mostly you can only spoil the image (as it turned out for me). Imagine how many times such artists as Modigliani, Dali, Picasso, etc. have heard such things.

Everyone has moments of self-doubt, moments of incertitude, which is worth to replace in creative work by a constructive approach.
